schools, prisons. Yah I just said school and prison in the same sentence…

need to know and be able to do for this career? (i.e. skills, training, etc.)
Being a
psychologist requires the ability to diagnose understand how and why people think
certain ways and know which medicine to give them. You learn these things
during your psychology major.

work does one do in this career?
Well it
depends on what kind of people a psychologist works with, but mostly they just
listen to their problems and assist them in conquering their psychological
fears.

I depends on
where you work but assuming I work at a hospital I would get Health Insurance,
Dental, optometry, and 10 sick days a year

every city in the United States. Hospitals are in every city therefore Psychologists

Clin Psychs
don't work to get promotions, they do get raises though, and big ones. But
mostly they're thoroughly invested in the field itself. This means that they'll
take on more responsibilities rather than be promoted - this can be becoming
the head of units, becoming editors for journals, taking up teaching duties at
the local Univeristy etc.

A PhD is
required to become a clinical psychologist, the most prestigious of all
psychologist careers. But with only a bachelors or a master’s degree in psychology
one could get a job for a school, the government or prisons.

education?
I would
probably open my own psychologist office.

Psychologists who are older and more experience
are respected, paid and hired substantially more than straight out of college,
or young ones.
