Kersey Temperament Revisited

I am an INFJ, which stands for Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling and Judging. INFJ's make up only 2 percent of the male population, and it's even less for females. But during some conversations with friends I have discovered that a big amount of my small group of friends have the same personality, which i guess says a lot about who I am.

INFJ Romantic Relationships - Agree or Disagree? 

My experience with romantic relationships is very limited. I have only had a handful of girlfriends in my life, and the reason for that is my personality type. The first paragraph on 16persoanlities.com in the romantic relationships section states that INFJ's are not one's for casual encounters. i couldn't agree with this more. I am extremely picky and cautious when it comes to finding a girlfriend. I'm always wondering if there is maybe someone else out there that is better for me, which can cause my girlfriends to become annoyed and impatient.

I agree and disagree with this statement. I tend to stay inside my comfort zone and will tend to not go out of my way to seek out people. But at the same time I do tend to go out of my way to avoid people who don't share similar beliefs. This is probably due to my Judging trait. I will tend to avoid situations where I will have to be in close proximity with people people I do not like.

Wow, I couldn't disagree with this any more. I am not at all a spontaneous person at all, even with people I love. I cherish the quiet and relaxing moments and the normal routine of life. And even when I do decide to plan something for the weekend I tend to overanalyze and plan everything, making sure that every aspect of the date will be filled with conversation and absent of awkward silence. This might make me sound like a boring person but my perfectionist personality is something that I don't like to show, I keep it hidden deep within.

As you can tell by looking at the letter involved I connect extremely well with certain types of extroverts. I can have great conversations with these type of extroverts, their energy makes me energized creating great chit-chat and fun dates.


ENTP- Yay or Nay? 

Yay, definitely yay. ENTPs are very deep when it comes to romantic relationships, something I find very appealing. they are also very fun and self-aware. We could have long conversations about nothing. And we can enjoy spending quality time together no matter what the activity.

Having said that, It might  not work because of how extroverted the average ENTP is. They might become bored with me because they love to go outside and socialize with people where I would rather just stay inside and chillax.

ENFP - Yay or Nay?  

The ENFP is very ambitious and imaginative, especially with an audience. They work very well with someone by their side. This is something that I might not like. I tend to be attracted to people who are more independent. ENFPs also tend to be the center of attention in social situation which i might like in a friend but maybe not in a relationship.
